Staatliches Bauhaus, commonly known as Bauhaus and literally meaning “building house”, is originally a German art school established in 1919 for fine arts, craftsmanship, and architecture. Despite the school closing in 1933, the term Bauhaus remains highly influential in contemporary design with its famous motto “less is more”. In the world of watchmaking, Bauhaus design is successfully represented by the German brand Nomos Glashütte and its timepieces known with their symmetrical outline, reduced dials and iconic typography.

The models will be available in the three primary colors as well as in three different case sizes as 33, 35 and 38mm in diameter. Each version will be limited to 100 pieces.
