Officine Panerai Luminor Goldtech Calendario Perpetuo (Ref. PAM01269)

The last phase of the long-standing identity change of the Italian origin brand, the Luminor Goldtech model with a perpetual calendar, was introduced. Collectors, who will have one of 33 watches, will also have the chance to attend the special event to be held in Florence and Tuscan with a focus on Panerai’s history.

The model with reference PAM01269 comes with a 44mm diameter 18K Goldtech gold case with polished surfaces. This patented Goldtech alloy offers a unique color and durability thanks to the platinum content in the material. The case is equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides and is water-resistant to 50 meters. The crown guard device, a signature detail for Luminor models, is made of brushed gold.

The model is powered by the in-house Caliber P.4100 movement equipped with one of luxury watchmaking's most exclusive complications: the Perpetual Calendar. The 6.9mm-thick movement has 55 jewels, beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph), and offers a power reserve of 3 days (up to 72 hours) when fully wound. The movement, powered by a double-barrel system, has a special feature that stops and resets the second hand when the crown is pulled for precise time adjustment.

In the center of the dial, there is a second time zone indicator along with hands for hours and minutes. The blue hand on the indicator makes two rotations per day, unlike a conventional GMT display. The indicator at 9 o'clock displays the second time zone via a 24-hour scale. This display also hosts a small seconds hand. The day and date displays are located at 3 o'clock position.

When we turn the back of the watch, a rather complicated scene greets us. The movement, wound by a solid 22K gold micro-rotor, includes month, leap year, year, and remaining power reserve indicators on the back.

The new model comes with a black alligator strap and a trapezoidal clasp made of the same material as the case. The lug width is 24mm. The model is limited to 33 units only. The lucky owners of these watches will have the opportunity to participate in one of the most extraordinary tours of Italy as well as to access the NFTs prepared by a famed artist. This NFT will also be the key to accessing a series of experiences that will continue after the trip is over.
