The PAM1700 model is home to cutting-edge technologies in every detail, from the case to the movement. The watch also accompanies the 70th-anniversary celebrations of the Luminor series. Finally, as the name suggests, the new Luminor, a member of the LAB-ID family, is the freshest fruit of the brand's non-stop R&D efforts.

The new Luminor LAB-ID comes in a 49mm diameter case made of Carbotech material. Carbotech, which has a 36% lower mass than steel and 14% lower than aluminum, is known as one of the most assertive materials in the industry in the lightness and durability categories. The model is equipped with a sapphire crystal and is water-resistant to 100 meters.

The watch's cabin features the hand-wound Caliber P.3001 / C movement, the latest product of the LAB-ID philosophy. Equipped with timeless features such as dry-lubricated mainspring, silicon escapement, self-lubricating bridges and plates, the caliber does not require any service for a whopping 70 years. The movement, which has only 4 jewels, operates at a frequency of 3Hz (21600vph) and offers 72 hours (3 days) of power reserve when fully wound.
