Omega introduced the new De Ville Tourbillon Co-Axial Master Chronometer, which combines the brand's DNA and experience under the same roof. Being the first Tourbillon Omega bearing the Master Chronometer certification, the new model has already managed to become one of the most talked-about novelties of the year.

The model, inspired by the simple and elegant design of past models, comes with a 43mm diameter case. Two different gold alloys have been used in the construction of the case, which offers a harmonious stance with its soft lines and elegance-oriented design. It is made of a combination of two gold alloys. 18K Sedna Gold (the brand’s proprietary rose gold alloy) is used for the lugs, bezel, and sapphire crystal display case back. 18K Canopus Gold (the brand’s proprietary white gold alloy) is used for the central case body, buckle logo, and crown logo. The case, water-resistant to 30 meters, is equipped with a domed sapphire crystal which is anti-reflective coated on both sides.

The simple layout dial is also made of Sedna Gold alloy. Featuring a sunray pattern over black PVD coated background, the dial hosts gold baton-style hour markers and hands. The tourbillon, completing a full tour in 60 seconds, also serves as a small second indication, positioned right in the center. The cage is made of black ceramic/titanium alloy with hand-polished bevels and is surrounded by a fluted gold ring.

The movement behind the simple yet elegant design of the new model is simply an engineering marvel. The new model is powered by the manufacture hand-wound movement Caliber 2640. In addition to the Co-Axial Tourbillon feature located in the center, the movement, which also includes functions such as the seconds' indicator on the Tourbillon cage and the power reserve indicator located on the back, is also the brand's first Master Chronometer certification. The 50-jewels movement, which can offer a power reserve of 72 hours (3 days) when fully wound, thanks to its double-barrel architecture, is not affected by magnetic environments up to 15,000 Gauss.

Omega De Ville Tourbillon Co-Axial Master Chronometer, which is planned to be produced with a separate serial number for each watch, but not limited, comes with a hand-stitched black alligator strap. The model's Omega global list price is EUR 158,000.
