Seamaster, one of the most important product groups of the famous Swiss brand in the watch world, celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Emphasizing the 75-year success of the adventure that started as a stylish sports watch, different model families left their mark on the summer of 2023 with the Summer Blue versions specially designed for the anniversary.

Among its product groups, Aqua Terra, which is in the luxury sports watch concept, introduced three new models with the Summer Blue theme. Here we are with two three-handed models, Aqua Terra 38mm and 41mm, from the collection that also includes a world-time complication version.

The first model in the collection is actually based on the recently introduced Aqua Terra Shades collection. The stainless steel case, designed with dimensions of 38 mm x 12.3 mm x 44.9 mm, is accompanied by a stylish steel bracelet. Designed with a classic sunray brushed style surface pattern, the dial is treated with the lightest variation of the new Summer Blue color. The gradient effect we see in the 75th-anniversary series is relatively minimal and the dark part is limited to the edges of the dial. The markers on the dial use the round sail shape normally found on 34 mm models. Inside the case, hidden under the new case with a Poseidon medallion, is the in-house automatic caliber 8800 with a 55-hour power reserve and all Master Chronometer features (coaxial, anti-magnetism).

The second watch in the Seamaster 75th collection looks like the big brother of the watch above, with a diameter of 41mm. However, this model is based on the classic design of the Aqua Terra collection, with its brushed and polished case and flat link bracelet. The model, measuring 41 mm x 13.2 mm x 47.9 mm, has a classic teak wood patterned dial found in the watches in the regular collection. On this dial, the Summer Blue tone with a low gradient effect stands out. The blue color is not limited to markers only, it also finds a place on the date disc. Inside the 150-meter water-resistant case with a solid and engraved case back, there is the Caliber 8900 with twin-barrel and a 60-hour power reserve. The new model, of course, carries the Master Chronometer certificate with its anti-magnetic capacity and coaxial escapement.
