Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 60 Years Of James Bond

Omega celebrates the 60th anniversary of James Bond's meeting with the silver screen with an exclusive Seamaster.

The adventure that started with the famous brand's movie GoldenEye, which was released in 1995, continues full throttle. Celebrating the 60th anniversary on the silver screen this year, the famous character also gets a new model produced by Omega exclusively for this significant occasion.

At first glance, the new model may seem like a variation of the design created for the No Time To Die movie, but in fact, it hosts many nuances. The blue color theme, reminiscent of the model used in the 1995 movie GoldenEye, seems to hit the hearts of the classic Seamaster Professional 300 fans.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 60 Years Of James Bond comes in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 13.15mm. Incorporating the proven design elements of the modern Seamaster Diver 300M platform, the front of the case features a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating applied from the inside. The unidirectional diver bezel that accompanies the case, on the other hand, features an aluminum insert, which refers to the classic Seamaster Professional 300 models. The bezel insert, which we are used to seeing with ceramic material, promises resistance against the wearing effects of time with its oxalic anodizing process. Produced resistant to 300M water pressure, the sporty case sports signature details of the model family such as an Omega-signed screw-in winding crown and helium escape valve.

The most crucial feature of the new model greets us at the back. The animated case back detail, which we remember from the Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary model of the brand, is also seen in the new Seamaster Diver 300M 60 Years Of James Bond model. On the case back, there is the classic gun barrel detail that we remember from the opening of the James Bond movies. This detail, placed under the sapphire crystal, makes the famous movement of the barrel figure, driven by the second's pinion.

The dial that dazzles with its blue tone, which is identified with the Seamaster 300 Professional family, is also produced from oxalic anodized aluminum, just like the bezel insert. Since the wave pattern, which is accepted as one of the symbol details of the series, is applied to the dial not by engraving, but by laser, it also refers to the classic Seamaster 300 Professional model family in terms of pattern depth and appearance. The components on the dial, which does not have a date window, guarantee perfect legibility in almost any environment with the Super-LumiNOVA phosphor application.

At the heart of the new model beats the Caliber 8806, designed and manufactured by Omega and certified with the Master Chronometer certificate. The automatic movement, which beats with an oscillation value of 25.200vph, unique to the brand's Co-Axial movement architecture, offers a power reserve time of up to 55 hours when fully wound. The elegant movement, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back, also brings the model-specific animated barrel figure to life.

The new model, a part of the standard (not limited) collection, comes on a Milanese steel bracelet, which is fixed to the wrist with the help of an Omega-signed folding clasp. The list price for the model, which is scheduled to reach sales points in the first quarter of 2023, is CHF 7000.00.
