Omega introduced its new model to commemorate the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The meeting of Omega, one of Switzerland's famous luxury watch brands, with the Olympics, dates back to 1932. The long-established brand celebrates its close partnership with the Olympics, which is considered the most important sports organization in the world, with a brand new Seamaster Diver 300M model. Let's take a closer look at the model that will only be sold in boutiques within the borders of the city of Paris, which will host the Olympics.
Designed with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 13.7mm, the case is made of stainless steel. Promising an unexpected comfort on the wrist with its 50mm diagonal distance, the case has a curved and anti-reflective sapphire crystal on the front and a diver-type bezel made of 18K Moonshine gold alloy around the crystal. Equipped with a case back with Paris 2024 emblem and 18K Moonshine gold medallion, the case is waterproof up to 300 meters with the help of the screw-in crown and helium exit valve.
The floor of the dial, which is made of white ceramic, is decorated with a wave pattern that is identified with the model family. There is a date window at 6 o'clock on the dial, where moonshine gold markers and hands show the time.
The new model takes its power from the Caliber 8800 movement, which we remember from many different Omega models. Equipped with a Co-Axial escapement, the Master Chronometer certified automatic caliber offers a power reserve time of up to 55 hours when fully wound.
The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Paris 2024 Edition comes with a classic metal bracelet, produced following the model-specific easy bracelet/strap replacement system. On the bracelet, there is a folding clip with practical adjustment, which is also an innovation. In addition, a special Paris 2024 NATO strap collection for this model is also preparing to be released.
The list price for the model added to the standard (non-limited) collection is CHF 8,200.
