Panerai introduced its new limited edition model, which was designed within the framework of the ongoing brand partnership with the world-famous explorer Mike Horn.
The model, which is the last fruit of the long-term partnership between Italian-origin cult brand Panerai and Mike Horn, who has a special place among living explorers, is limited to only 500 units.
The new model comes with a 47mm Luminor Submersible style case. The front of the sporty case made of brushed titanium features a sapphire crystal and a diver-type bezel with a black ceramic insert. The case, featuring a titanium crown protector and a solid case back signed by Mike Horn, is waterproof up to 300 meters. The pushers that control the chronograph feature are located on the left side of the case.
The Bi-Compax chronograph style dial consists of yellow accents added on a navy blue background. In addition to the color palette that provides sufficient contrast, Super-LumiNOVA phosphor-filled hands and markers allow the dial to be legible in almost any environment.
The new model is powered by the Caliber P.9100, designed and manufactured by Panerai. The automatic movement with flyback chronograph works at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800vph). Equipped with superior technical features such as Incabloc™ shock-absorbing system and Glucydur™ balance, the movement offers a power reserve time of up to 3 days with the help of its double-barrel design.
The model is available with two different straps, one of which is accordion-type blue rubber, and the other is the new UPCamo bi-material strap made of rubber and camouflage fabric inspired by Italian Navy uniforms.
