Panerai unveiled a new model designed for the brand ambassador, freestyle diver Guillaume Nery.
The new model comes with a 44mm diameter and 16.2mm high Luminor Marina style case. The case is made of sandblasted DMLS titanium alloy, with a rubber-coated titanium bezel and sapphire crystal on the front. The case, which is resistant to 30 bar (~ 300 meters) water pressure, is accompanied by a solid case back with the "70 Years Warranty" logo engraved on it.
The sandwich-type dial with a gradient black background features Arabic number and bar indices. Offering perfect legibility in any environment thanks to the green sparkling white Super-LumiNOVA phosphor material, the dial features a small seconds counter at 9 o'clock and a date window at 3 o'clock.
The brand's in-house movement Caliber P.9010 powers the new model. 6mm thick automatic movement contains 200 pieces / 31 jewels. Equipped with a Glucydur balance wheel and Incabloc shock absorber system, the movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28800vph) and offers 3 days (72 hours) of power reserve when fully wound thanks to the double-barrel system.
Limited to only 70 pieces, the model is accompanied by a strap made of recycled plastic PET bottles. A white rubber strap is also provided with the watch. Let us remind you that it is the first rubber strap with the luminescent "Officine Panerai" personalization.
