Panerai introduced a new limited edition model exclusively designed for the Panerai Transat Classique 2019 yacht race event, which attracts attention with its 3000-mile long route.
Officine Panerai is getting ready to bring the watch aficionados and sailing enthusiasts under the same roof once more with a new limited edition model. Exclusively designed for the Panerai Transat Classique 2019 yacht race event, the new Panerai Luminor Regatta Transat Classique (PAM00956) with its low limited production number and unique case back engraving designed for the occasion.
Panerai Luminor Regatta Transat Classique (PAM00956) comes in a lightweight titanium case measuring 47mm in diameter. Equipped with a domed and inner side anti-glare coated scratch resistant sapphire crystal on the front side and a specially engraved for the occasion solid titanium case back on the rear side, the case features a pair of pushers at 8 and 10 o’clock positions respectively. The case is water resistant to 100 meters / 10 bars.
On the dial, the new model features orange accents on the blue tone background that is inspired by the seas. Featuring both Arabic numerals and hour markers, the dial is designed in Bi-Compax chronograph lay-out with sub dials at 3 and 9 o’clock. The center-placed hands are for chronograph seconds and minutes and they are differentiated from each other with their blue and orange finish. Super LumiNOVA phosphor application provides sufficient legibility even in darker environments.
Panerai Luminor Regatta Transat Classique (PAM00956) is powered by the fully manufacture movement Caliber P.9100 / R. 37 jewels self-winding movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 3 days (72 hours) when fully wound. Besides its time display function, the 328 pieces movement offers features like Flyback chronograph, Regatta countdown time, the speed calculation scale in Knots and seconds reset.
The model comes on a personalized dark blue rubber strap and trapezoidal brushed titanium buckle. Supplied with a second interchangeable strap, a tool for changing the strap and a steel screwdriver. Panerai Luminor Regatta Transat Classique (PAM00956) is limited to span of 150 units only and available with a MSRP of € 17,500.
