Panerai continues to be the Official Sponsor of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team in the 37th America's Cup. The famous brand is crowning this collaboration with a new limited edition Luna Rossa model.
The new model comes with a 44mm diameter Luminor Submersible style case. The case, which is made of matte stainless steel, has a sapphire crystal and a uni-directional diver-type bezel on the front. Equipped with a solid case back, the case is waterproof up to 300 meters.
The sporty model hosts a blue dial with a sunray background pattern. Promising optimal legibility in almost any environment with Super-LumiNOVA filled hands and indices, the dial hosts a date window at 3 o'clock and a small seconds display at 9 o'clock.
The new model is powered by the brand's new generation automatic movement Caliber P.900. The movement, which operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph), offers a power reserve of 3 days/72 hours when fully wound.
The model, which is limited to only 1500 pieces, comes on a strap combining blue textile material with a red stripe on the upper part and black rubber on the lining part. The stylish model is fastened to the wrist with a trapezoidal clasp made of matte stainless steel.
