After the last year’s Toric Chronometer version, Parmigiani introduced the Qualité Fleurier version featuring a certified movement and a hand crafted Guilloche dial.

The model is offered in an 18K gold (red or white) case measuring 40.8mm in diameter and 9.5mm in height. The bezel on the case is finished with a hand-executed fluting – done by pressing a stamp against a blank bezel mounted a turning wheel, which is also a signature detail of the Toric Collection.

The new model is easily identified with its barleycorn guilloche dial which is engraved on the dial by a hand-operated rose engine, a technique known as the most traditional and time-consuming method of producing guilloche. Applique style hour markers and the hands are made of 18K rose gold.

Parmigiani Toric Qualité Fleurier is powered by the fully in-house self-winding Caliber PF331-QF, which is approved by Qualité Fleurier. The square Qualité Fleurier seal on the wheel train bridge indicates the movement has passed the Fleurier Quality test. Arguably the most rigorous watch testing and certification process in Switzerland – but unfortunately only used by a handful of brands with factories in the town of Fleurier – the certification demands superior finishing of all components as well as excellent accuracy and shock resistance.
