The legend of Nautilus, which has been going on since 1976, continues with a new stainless steel model equipped with an annual calendar movement. Introduced at this year’s Baselworld trade show, the new model is already among the brand’s modern classics.

Although the times when four models developed under the leadership of Gerald Genta were over, one of them seems to have increased in popularity every passing day. Patek Philippe Nautilus, the leading man of our story, seems to be taking its share of this popularity with the new stainless steel case (and bracelet) Annual Calendar model.
The Nautilus 5726 / 1A comes in a stainless steel case measuring 40.5mm x 11.3mm. There is only one word that can be said for the workmanship of polished and brushed surfaces of the case: perfect. Self-winding movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of up to 45 hours when fully wound. 34 jewels/347 parts movement hosts an annual calendar complication that needs to be set only once a year (in February). Certified with the Patek Philippe Seal, the accuracy of the movement is + 3 / -2 seconds per day.
