Rado added a new version to its Captain Cook model family, which has been added to the brand’s current product line in 2017. The bronze case model is accompanied by burgundy components.

The model comes in a bronze case, one of the popular materials of recent years, measuring 42mm in diameter and 12.5mm in height case. This alloy, which changes color, and becomes personalized depending on the lifestyle of its user, finds its place in the catalogs of many watch brands today. The bronze alloy (CuAl) used by Rado can be a little more conservative in changing color due to its high aluminum content and preserves its new form for a long time. On the front of the case, there is a curved sapphire crystal designed in harmony with the vintage theme. Surrounding the crystal is a bright burgundy ceramic insert bronze bezel. The case, which can withstand water pressure up to 300 meters, is accompanied by a titanium case back.
The dial of the new model is home to a burgundy-colored background that matches the bezel and the strap. The dial, which offers excellent legibility in almost any environment with Super-LumiNOVA filled wide hands and large markers, is accompanied by a date indicator exclusively designed with a burgundy font for the model. At 12 o'clock, there is the gold-colored moving anchor symbol with synthetic ruby back-plate.
Rado Captain Cook Bronze Burgundy Dial comes to life with the Caliber ETA C07, which we remember from Swatch Group brands. The automatic movement offers up to 80 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The model, which comes with a burgundy textile strap and bronze buckle following the theme, is offered for sale with a list price of CHF 2,600.
