Rado has added a new model designed in partnership with the Rado YoungStars team member, tennis player Cameron Norrie, to its successful representative in the classic-themed diver's watch category, Captain Cook.
The long-established brand, which has been continuing its sponsorship agreements in tennis for more than 30 years, includes partnerships with athletes such as Ashleigh Barty, as well as various tournaments. The latest model in the series is signed by young racquet Cameron Norrie, who has been a member of the Rado Tennis family since 2021. The newly introduced model is based on the Captain Cook platform, one of the brand's best-seller product groups.
The stylish model comes with a 42mm diameter and 12.3mm height designed case. The front of the sporty case features a box-type sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating and a green ceramic insert diver bezel. The case, accompanied by a solid case back and screw-in crown, is resistant to 300 meters of water pressure.
The new model hosts a dome-shaped dial that draws attention with its gradient green ground color. There is a date window at 3 o'clock on the dial, which promises fast and clear legibility in all possible conditions, with its SLN-filled large markers and thick hands.
Limited to only 823 pieces, the eye-catching model takes its power from the automatic Caliber R763 movement, which impresses with its 80-hour power reserve.
The list price for the model, which is offered for sale with a steel bracelet accompanied by a titanium folding clip, a black leather strap, and a green/white textile strap, is EUR 2,850.
