Rado, the rightful owner of the “Master of Materials” motto, introduced the True Thinline x Great Gardens Of The World collection, featuring new women's models inspired by endangered plants.
Rado is a well-established name in the world of watches, known for its minimalist and contemporary designs as well as its pioneering position in the innovative use of high-tech ceramic alloys. Although the brand's most popular model family in recent years has been Captain Cook, Rado also includes more stylish and more contemporary product groups such as the True Thinline. Introduced in 2011, this collection stands out with its injected monoblock hi-tech ceramic case structure that provides a super slim profile. Drawing attention to its original details, the modern collection greets watch lovers once again with three new automatic models with textured dials inspired by endangered plant species, in partnership with the Great Gardens of the World organization.
The new models come with cases made of high-tech ceramic alloy, designed with a diameter of 40mm and a thickness of 9mm. The cases, which are made of black for Loulu Lelo, white for Araucaria, and plasma high-tech ceramic for the Dragon Blood model, feature scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides. Elegant cases offer resistance to a water pressure of 30 meters.
Loulu Lelo hosts a black dial with a pleated pattern. The Araucaria model sports an engraved mother-of-pearl dial. The Dragon Blood model hosts a two-layer dial with a skeleton form over a rose gold plate.
At the heart of the new models is the Caliber R766 movement. The ETA 2892-based automatic movement takes its power from the anti-magnetic Nivachron mainspring. The caliber, which offers a power reserve time of up to 64 hours when fully wound, can be viewed through the sapphire crystal display case back.
All three models are available on three-link bracelets, made of the same material as the case. At the ends of stylish and comfortable bracelets, a triple folding clasp serves.
