Ressence, one of the permanent names of exotic models, announced the new limited edition model designed in cooperation with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the leading store chain in the Middle East.
“We are extremely honored to collaborate with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons on this very unique project. They have pioneered in promoting independent brands in their region and I see this new piece as a thank you for all their efforts,” says Benoît Mintiens, founder of Ressence.
The new model comes with a 41mm diameter case equipped with Ressence-specific details. The case, which is made of ultra-light Grado 5 titanium alloy, has a sapphire crystal on the front.
Ressence Type 1 Slim DX2 beats with the ROCS 1 (Ressence Orbital Convex System) which offers a very unique technology despite being based on the ETA 2892 movement. The discs on the dial, which consists of different layers, display the time by moving. The information read from the dial, which is filled with a special liquid, is controlled by the arm placed on the back cover. The automatic movement, which gives life to this unique display system, offers a power reserve of up to 36 hours when fully wound.
The model, which is limited to only 25 pieces, is completed by two straps, one in tan calf leather and the other in green rubber. The list price for the new model is CHF 22,500.
