Richard Mille, one of the extreme brands of the watch world with its models that push the limits of luxury watchmaking, introduced its new model RM 72-01 to the watch enthusiasts.
Richard Mille, who literally redefined luxury watchmaking with both the calibers they designed and the materials and technologies they used, added a new model to his collection. The new model, bearing traces of visual and audio arts in almost every detail, has already become one of the most talked-about novelties in the world of watches.
The famous brand worked with the world-renowned choreographer Benjamin Millepied and talented composer Thomas Roussel in the design of the new model. The art-filled story of the innovative model offers a visual feast to watch enthusiasts with the campaign film WITHIN, in which two artists who take an active role in the design of the model work together.
Fed by the synergy created by the two artists, the new model combines the accelerating and repetitive movements of the clocks with the natural rhythm of music and dance. Richard Mille, the indispensable name of unique models, crowns this synergy with a hybrid design language that melts art and technology in the same pot.
The RM 72-01 is also the first model equipped with the Flyback Chronograph function in the history of the brand. The innovative movement CRMC1, which makes a difference with the use of unlimited materials as well as advanced technologies, was designed and produced entirely within the brand. The automatic movement, which attracts attention with its intense Grado 5 titanium use, is designed in skeleton form. Equipped with hour, minute, small seconds counter, date, and Flyback Chronograph functions, the movement is accompanied by sub-dials located at 2/5/9 positions, which are also unique in the world of luxury watchmaking. The micro-engineering marvel movement, which consists of 425 parts, provides a power reserve of 50 hours when fully wound.
The model comes in a case measuring 38.40 x 47.34 x 11.68 mm, designed in Tonneau style, which has become the symbol of the brand. The case comes in Grado 5 titanium, 5N red gold, black TZP, and white ATZ ceramic with 5N red gold case band options. The case, which is resistant to water pressure up to 30 meters with nitrile O-ring seals, is accompanied by 20 titanium screws and 316L stainless steel washers. Sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on both sides are used at the front and rear sides of the case.
