At Watches & Wonders 2023, the biggest watch organization of the year, we are witnessing innovations that will make Rolex fans happy.
The star of the fair managed to attract attention with its brand new 1908 series as well as its updates in the Daytona, Gmt-Master 2, Yacht-Master, Explorer, Sky-Dweller, Oyster Perpetual and Day-Date collections.
The sporty chronograph, the Daytona, is here with its updated case proportions and striking details. While Rolex does not make any changes in the model's 40mm case size, the most striking detail at first glance is the bezel, which is made of the same material as the case. The caliber of the model, which has a combination of stainless steel, steel-gold, 18-carat gold and platinum case options, has also undergone various improvements. It gives life to the new caliber 4131 Daytona, which has a power reserve of 72 hours. Unlike other models, the platinum version has a sapphire crystal back cover.
The titanium version added to the Yacht-Master model is another of the most exciting developments of the fair. The 42mm diameter model is a sporty monument with a matte black dial and a black ceramic bezel. Equipped with the automatic caliber 3230, the power reserve of the model is approximately 70 hours.
The two new versions added to the Gmt-Master 2 series have black dials and gray-black ceramic bezels. For watches with 18-karat yellow gold-stainless steel and full gold case/bracelet combinations, the Jubilee type multi-link bracelet is offered as the only option.
The version of the Explorer model, which is identified with the 36mm size, gets a 40mm case size. We think that Rolex made this strategic move because of the interest in large-scale models. The black dial, steel bezel and Oyster bracelet model with brushed links comes to life with the automatic caliber 3230 with a 70-hour power reserve. Especially the new green dial version of Sky-Dweller ensures that the color identified with Rolex is included in this model family. The new dial of Oyster Perpetual, one of Rolex's most striking series, is here to celebrate perfection. We have no doubt that there will be a great interest in the colorful dial added to the 31mm, 36mm and 41mm case options.
The new dials added to the Day-Date 36 series once again reveal Rolex's mastery of semi-precious stones. Saluting us with 3 different case and dial options, 18k white, yellow and pink gold, the new models have dials adorned with diamonds and, depending on the model, bezels. The Day-Date 36 options, complete with a press-made bracelet, know no bounds with eye-flowing fluidity.
Perpetual 1908 series, which is the continuation of the Cellini family, is before us with the slogan of the new face of perfection. Models with 18k yellow or white gold case options measure 39mm. The water resistance value of the model with sapphire crystal glass and back cover is 50 meters. Equipped with the automatic caliber 7140 with a power reserve of 66 hours, the watches are completed with leather straps and double-sided folding clasps.
