The new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31, the Rolesor version that combines Oystersteel and 18K white gold, is available with 18K white gold hour markers and different dial colors.
Rolex introduced four new versions of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31, which combines Oystersteel and 18K white gold (Rolesor).
The first model to house 46 diamond-cut diamonds in its bezel, has an aubergine dial decorated with Roman numerals and sunray patterns. Other models; Available with sunray patterned mint green, white lacquered, and dark gray dial colors with sunray pattern and 18K white gold bezel.
In all of the new Datejust 31 models, markers and Roman numerals are made of 18K white gold. Light reflections on the sides and protrusions of the case emphasize the elegant profile of the Oyster design.
Rolex's Datejust model is the archetype of the classic watch thanks to its timeless functions and aesthetics. The watch, which debuted in 1945, was the first automatic movement waterproof chronometer wristwatch that displays the date in a window at 3 o'clock, combining all the important innovations that the brand had contributed to the modern wristwatch concept up to that time. While the Datejust preserved the aesthetic qualities that made it recognizable, it also managed to spread through the ages.
Rolesor, the combination of 18K white gold and Oystersteel, has been the trademark of the brand since its name was registered in 1933. Noble and precious white gold stands out with its luster and durability, while Oystersteel stands out with its corrosion resistance. All these qualities meet in a Rolex model and reflect elegance and performance.
In the new white Rolesor versions of the Datejust 31, the bezel is made of 18K white gold, while the winding crown, middle case, bracelet, and clasp are made of Oystersteel. An example of robustness and elegance, the Oyster case provides resistance to water pressure up to 100 meters. The Cyclops lens is located at the 3 o'clock position in the crystal made of almost scratch-proof sapphire.
New versions of the Datejust 31 models come with the Caliber 2236, developed and manufactured entirely by Rolex. This automatic movement, which has granted the brand several patents and is at the forefront of luxury watchmaking technology, offers fundamental gains in terms of precision, power reserve, resistance to shocks and magnetic fields, comfort, and reliability. Caliber 2236 provides an average of 55 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
White Rolesor versions of the Datejust 31 are available with an Oyster or a Jubilee bracelet. The three-piece Oyster bracelet, developed in the late 1930s, is known for its durability. The flexible and comfortable five-piece Jubilee was first introduced to watch enthusiasts in 1945 with the release of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust.
In the versions with aubergine and white lacquer dials, the Oyster bracelet is fitted with a foldable Oysterclasp and an Easylink connection that allows the user to easily adjust the length of the bracelet by about 5mm. The Jubilee bracelet in mint green and dark gray dial models are equipped with an elegant and discreet Crownclasp.
