Zenith Defy Classic Mykonos Edition exclusively produced for the brand’s Greek dealer GOFAS, brings the sea, the sky and the summer to the wrists.
With its blue houses with white blinds, narrow roads, cobblestone streets and amazing sea undoubtedly, Mykonos is one of the most interesting holiday regions. To bring Mykonos’ unique and vibrant spirit to the wrists, Zenith has teamed up with GOFAS, the Greek dealer of the brand, to design a new limited edition of 25 unit version of Defy Classic.
The watch comes in a 41mm blue ceramic case. In addition to its durability and scratch resistance, the case also stands out for its blue color embedded in the material. The mixture of glossy and sandblasted surfaces reinforce the futuristic lines of the model. On the transparent sapphire case back of the watch is the silhouette of Mykonos’ iconic white windmills. Defy Classic Mykonos Edition is resistant to water pressure up to 100 meters.
Inspired by the Greek flag in the dial design, the model attracts attention in blue, white and silver tones. The central star of the skeletonized dial is the same tone as the case. The central seconds hand and the star-shaped rotor are in white. The minute scale, which is also white, is in harmony with blue Super-LumiNova filled, rhodium-plated facet cut markers and arms. The date window is at 6 o’clock.
The model is powered by the self-winding Elite 670 SK movement, which offers a power reserve of 50 hours and is enjoyed through the sapphire display case back.
For the perfect harmony of this particular series with the Mykonos theme, the model is complemented by a textured blue-and-white rubber strap, inspired by the island’s cobbled streets, developed exclusively for this series (Ref. 49.9004.670.51.R599). The second strap of the watch is again textured and rubber but completely white (Ref. 49.9004.670.51.R792). The straps are combined with titanium folding clasps with blue ceramic detail.
