Seiko adds two new versions to the Sharp Edged series, which is part of the successful model family Presage.
When it comes to price/performance, it becomes very difficult to find different brands that can hold a candle to Seiko. The famous brand, which has signed the most successful models in almost every segment it is in, knows no rivals in terms of build quality, functionality and ergonomics, especially in mid-level products.
The Sharp Edge model family, on the other hand, stands out, especially in terms of design and finishing. As the name suggests, the collection uses a design language that focuses on sharp edges and offers stylish models under the 2000 EUR limit. Two new limited edition versions recently added to the collection draw attention with their black themes and gradient blue/black dials.
Both models come with a case and bracelet with a black coating on stainless steel and hard surface protection that resists scratches. Sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating are used on the front of the sporty models, and see-through case backs at the back. Both models are home to gradient blue/black background colored dials decorated with the Asanoha pattern, one of the symbol details of the Presage collection.
Seiko Presage Sharp Edged GMT Akebono SPB361 emphasizes the sporty side of the new series. The model, which comes to life with the automatic Caliber 6R64 movement equipped with the GMT feature, comes with a case designed with a diameter of 42.2mm and a thickness of 13.7mm. The model, which is limited to 2000 pieces, carries a price tag of EUR 1,450.
Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Date Akebono SPB363 takes its place as the simpler and more compact model of the series. The model, which comes with a 39.3mm diameter and 11.1mm high case, takes its power from the automatic Caliber 6R35 movement. The model, which has a date function as well as timekeeping, is limited to 2000 pieces and is offered for sale with a list price of EUR 990.
