Seven Friday, one of the leading names in the world of entrepreneurial brands, introduced the new Racing Team Collection inspired by motor sports. The new collection bearing details from the original DNA of the brand includes two different models designed in yellow and red themes.
In the watchmaking industry, many brands produce models inspired by motor sports ranging from Formula 1 tracks to the toughest rally grounds. Those models created by the idea of blending the curiosity of mankind for machines with the men dominated world of watches continues to attract a great deal of interest from all kinds of watch enthusiasts. Seven Friday, one of the watch brands that can be accepted as a benchmark for transforming the entrepreneurial spirit into business success, is also among those who are indifferent to this trend.
The newly introduced collection features two different models. Ref. P3B / 03 is designed in bright yellow tone which is identified with super sports cars in the world of motor sports while the Ref. P3B / 06 is tuned with a lively red tone that evokes the enthusiasm of the race tracks.
Both models are offered in Gun Metal PVD coated stainless steel cases. The cases, measuring 47.6mm x 47mm, are designed in classic Seven Friday style. Equipped with a scratch resistant mineral crystal on the front side and a solid case back featuring an NFC chip like the other models in the product line, the case is water resistant to 30 meters.
Seven Friday-style multi-layered dials are detailed according to the color theme of the models. The dials that offer an industrial look with their partially open-worked design, provides a very harmonious image with vivid yellow and red colors inspired by motor sports. Of course, the carbon fiber pattern on the dial is also a great contribution to this beautiful harmony.
In both models, Miyota manufacture Caliber 82S7 automatic movement, which the brand has not given up since the first day, is preferred. Caliber 82S7, which is among the classical movements of the watchmaking industry with its easy-to-service architecture and proved robustness, offers 40 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The new models are offered with leather and rubber combined straps designed in line with each model’s color theme. MSRP is 1,150 CHF.
