Roger Dubuis, Switzerland’s innovative watch brand, and Pirelli, an Italian tire manufacturer, have unveiled the first product of their brand partnership: the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Pirelli Limited Edition. The new model, which will be debuted officially at SIHH 2017, and attracts attention with its double flying tourbillion feature.
The model, listed in the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Collection, is presented in a 47mm diameter titanium case finished with black DLC and blue rubber.
Designed in a skeletal form, the watch is powered by the Caliber Ref. RD105SQ. The 365-piece movement sports a pair of flying tourbillon cages. As in other models of the brand, Caliber Ref. RD105SQ has also been marked with the Geneva Seal, which is considered one of the most important certificates of the Swiss watch industry.
The new model comes on a black rubber strap made of the same rubber compound found in the racing tires manufactured by Pirelli. The stitches on the strap are sewn in blue as are the official color of the famous tire maker.
The model will be limited to 8 pieces only and retailed for 280.000,00 CHF. Those 8 lucky owners will have the opportunity to join a VIP motorsports event organized by Roger Dubuis and Pirelli.
