With their iconic Chronofighter and Swordfish series Graham has attracted the attention of many, who prefer large bold designs. The brand only continues to receive attention with their motorsport inspired Silverstone series RS Skeleton model, which took its name from legendary Silverstone Grand Prix in Britain.
The Graham Silverstone RS Skeleton has a case that is completely different from other Silverstone models. The bezel is somewhat wider, and you will find more compact sizes regarding the crown and chrono pushers than on previous pieces.
The crown and pusher layout might seem familiar from the Jaeger Le Coultre Master Compressor series.
For the markings on the black ceramic tachymeter bezel Graham chose grey tones. As we already mentioned, this 46 mm steel case features a bezel that is 1 mm wider.
When examining the watch from an angle, it is possible to see Clous De Paris finish on the green colored inner bezel.
As the name suggests the watch has a skeletonized dial. Although it is not a completely open, Graham reveals the balance wheel and some parts of the gear train.
The sword like hour and minute hand, which we are familiar with from diving watches are well designed and are coated in white Super-LumiNova.
Because of the complicated design of the dial these robust and luminous hands seem like a good choice keeping readability in mind.
Graham used an anti-reflective sapphire glass, with the brand’s name on it at 12 o’clock.
The see-through case back allows you to see the G1790 referenced calibre, which brings life to the Silverstone RS Skeleton. When fully wound the movement offers 46 hours of power reserve.
You will also find information about the watches production range on the back cover.
This piece is water resistant up to a depth of 100 m which will be perfectly enough for your daily use.
The Silverstone RS comes with a racing tire patterned rubber strap.
On the strap you will find Graham’s marking and a colored lime coherent to the watches look.
As the watch has quite wide lugs the strap has a concave shape.
We can say that this detail balances the watch’s large appeal, however for those with small wrists this might still not be the most suitable option.
The double-sided folding clips give a nice touch to this sporty piece.
We advise to check out the Silverstone RS Skeleton models, especially to those who enjoy motor sports and Graham’s big and bold designs.
The model is limited to 250 pieces for each color option respectively.
