Things have progressed exactly like that in Odysseus. A characteristic design emerged when the same size day display was placed in front of the big date display, which became a prestige and icon in luxury watchmaking with its classic double window, and everyone in the brand agreed that this model would constitute the cornerstone of the sixth watch family of A. Lange & Söhne.
The new A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus model has two different references: The cases of both models are made of 18K white gold. Ref. 363.038 comes on a gray stitched, hand-made dark brown strap while the Ref. 363.068 shows up with a black rubber strap. Both models feature 18K white gold buckles.
The white gold cases measure 40.5mm in diameter and 11.1mm in height. A sapphire crystal with a hardness rating of 9 protects the meticulously crafted dial. Thanks to the sapphire crystal display case back, the movement that makes you admire German workmanship every time you look at it, can be enjoyed. Tapered pushers for adjusting the day and date are located above and below the crown. The case shows resistance to water pressure up to 120 meters. Yes, now you can wear your A. The new A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus displays the time through a gray dial. White gold hands and baton-shaped notch hour markers are easily legible on a dark background. White color is also used in the numbers and letters on the big date and day display. Like the hour and the minute hands, markers can shine in the dark. While the outer part of the hour markers and seconds sub-dial is decorated with embossed corrugated texture, it contrasts with the glossy matte surfaces in the center of the dial and the sub-dial.
