TAG Heuer Aquaracer Ladies, which was introduced during the Geneva Watch Exhibition 2017, takes its place among the rare timepieces that can be both sporty and elegant at the same time.
The model we opted for the review was introduced at the Geneva Watch Exhibition 2017 as a part of brand’s 2017 novelties. The Aquaracer Collection, which secured its position among the brand’s indispensable ladies’ collections, fascinates with its elegance offered without compromising its sporty DNA.
The model is offered in a stainless-steel case measuring 35mm in diameter. The case is water resistant to 300 meters / 30 bars as expected from a professional dive watch and is equipped with a solid stainless-steel case back as well as a screw-in winding crown adorned with TAG Heuer logo. The signature Aquaracer style bezel represents the contemporary face of the collection by sporting a blue ceramic insert housing an antiglare coated scratch resistant flat sapphire crystal.
Standing out with its sporty character, the model gets into a completely different mood with its elegantly designed dial. Finished in matching deep blue tone with the glossy ceramic insert, the dial is beautifully made of mother of pearl. 11 pieces (total 0.10ct) diamond set hour markers emphasize the feminine aspect of the model while the Super LumiNOVA phosphor material applied hands offer optimal legibility in darker environments. The date display is located at 3 o’clock as the only extra function of the model.
A Quartz movement is preferred for the model. Considering its practicality and women clientele, we believe it is a good decision.
The version we opted for the review comes with a three-link stainless steel bracelet. The metal that is secured with TAG Heuer signed folding clasp offers a comfortable wrist wear even for smaller wrists. There are also a textile and a rubber strap in the collection finished in matching blue tone.
