Autavia collection, which combines automotive and aviation themes, was renewed in Baselworld 2019. Available in seven different versions, it has a choice of stainless steel and bronze cases.
As it is known, Autavia comes from the combination of Auto and Aviation. Although we have come up with the designs that the automotive part has dominated so far, TAG Heuer has succeeded in transferring its aviation genes to its collection this time.
The models come in 42mm cases available in stainless steel or bronze. Equipped with a sapphire crystal on the front side as well as a bi-directional bezel, the case is water resistant to 100 meters with its solid case back. Blue, black, gray, brown and green dial options are offered in the new series, where a pair of brown leather strap alternatives are available. There is also a bracelet option for the stainless steel case version.
The new models are powered by the 25 jewels self-winding Caliber 5 movement which is based on Sellita SW 200. The movement is equipped with a carbon composite hairspring developed by TAG Heuer and has a power reserve of 38 hours.
The new TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph Collection, with design details that can be found among modern classics, is available at prices ranging from $ 3500 to $ 4300.
