Maxime Plescia-Büchi, the world-famous name of tattoo art, continues to be carried to the wrists with Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu II White models.
For Maxime Plescia-Büchi it wouldn't be right to just call him 'a tattoo artist'. Born in 1978 in Lausanne, Switzerland, the artist studied Psychology at the University of Lausanne in 1998 and graphic design at the University of Lausanne Art and Design (École cantonale d'art de Lausanne - ECAL). Afterward, he worked for magazines such as NORM, North Design, Self Service Magazine, and Arena Homme and brands such as Büchi, Miu Miu, and Chloe working in design studios. Apprenticing under the direction of world-renowned tattoo artist Filip Leu, Büchi founded his versatile agency Sang Bleu in 2005.
Originally a magazine, Sang Bleu operates in many fields from brand consultancy to strategy and art direction; He makes a name for himself in areas such as typography, graphic design, and photography. Maxime, who has acquired a distinctive style in both tattoo and creative fields, has been working in his studios in London, Zurich, and Los Angeles since 2013.

Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu II White's bold and striking 45mm case is made of two different materials, "Titanium White" and "King Gold White", with and without diamonds. Therefore, there are four models in total. Büchi continues to use hexagons, rhombuses, and triangles together with the three-dimensional round form in this design. Both Titanium White Pave (Ref.418.NX.2001.RX.1604.MXM20) and King Gold Pave (Ref.418.OX.2001.RX.1604.MXM20) models feature 172 diamonds in the case and 48 diamonds in the bezel. The case of the models, which come with a sapphire crystal case back, is resistant to water pressure up to 100 meters.
Chronograph indicators are also available on matte, white, skeletonized dials this time. Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu II White models are powered by the automatic chronograph movement UNICO Caliber HUB1240 that offers 72 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
Sang Bleu II White is complemented by a black and white rubber strap and buckles that match the case material. Titanium versions are limited to 200 and King Gold is limited to 100 pieces.
