The brand new design of the Breguet Type XX, which is among the most famous examples of aviation-themed chronograph models, creates excitement with two new versions that will satisfy both nostalgia and high watchmaking enthusiasts.
The most recent versions of Breguet Type models, which include many legendary stories in their 70-year history, bring together the historical heritage of the brand with modern technology while raising the bar for the quality and appeal of aviation-themed chronograph models.
One of the new versions attracts attention with its military-inspired design while the other offers more of a civilian presence. The models, which basically share the same case and movement, are distinguished from each other by the differences in the dial, winding crown, and bezel parts.
Due to its military theme, the Type 20 chronograph features mint green Super-LumiNOVA applied indices on the dial, hands, and the triangle on the rotating bezel. In the civilian version, these details use ecru-toned phosphor material, emphasizing the retro theme. The Type XX model, produced for civilians, also has a 12-hour chronograph sub-dial at 6 o'clock. Both models feature a date window at 4:30 and an extra-large minute counter at 3 o'clock.
The watches come with 42mm x 14.1mm stainless steel cases, AR-coated sapphire crystals, sapphire crystal display case backs, and WR100M water resistance. Both models come to life with in-house automatic calibers. Movements with integrated Flyback chronograph feature beat at a frequency of 5Hz (36,000vph) and offer a 60-hour power reserve when fully wound. The chronograph function, thanks to its Flyback feature, can quickly perform stop-start-restart operations by pressing the reset button during operation.
Equipped with a quick strap change system, Type 20 and Type XX are offered to watch lovers with a choice of black or brown leather and black NATO straps. The price of the models in the standard (not limited) collection is 19.100 EUR.
