The case sports a scratch resistant sapphire crystal on the front side and a beautifully engraved solid stainless steel caseback with the famous steering wheel motif. 100M water resistance is more than enough for the average user.
The black/anthracite dial bears the classic “blind” pattern. The chronograph sub dials are located at 2-6-10 o’clock positions. The date, display is located at 4 o’clock position, blends nicely with the dial thanks to its dark background date disc. The vintage looking hour markers sit a bit higher than the dial level giving the watch a 3D look at certain angles with the help of blind motif surface.
Tissot PSR 516 Quartz Chronograph model is powered with ETA G10.212 quartz movement. Since it is a quartz movement, ”mechanic only” type watch enthusiasts will possibly not find anything fancy here but the real reason behind the nice price is that quartz movement.
