Ulysse Nardin introduced its new limited edition model for US Navy, to commemorate its long-standing position as a supplier of Marine Chronometers.
The new model is based on the brand’s Marine Torpilleur model family which was added to the current product line in recent years. The model is offered in a 44mm diameter stainless-steel case that is equipped with the coin edge style bezel, a signature detail for the Marine Torpilleur, and is water resistant to 50 meters.
Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Military US Navy (Ref. 1183-320LE/40) comes with a white dial that is accompanied with contrasting black Roman numeral indices and blued hands which are designed without phosphor material. Arranged in brands iconic two sub-dial lay out, the dial offers a power reserve at 12 o’clock and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock.
The new model is powered by the manufacture Caliber Ref. UN-118. Equipped with silicone technology components that is introduced to the watchmaking industry by Ulysse Nardin, COSC certified self-winding movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vp) and offers a power reserve of 60 hours when fully wound.
