Two new Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin (Ref. 4300V/120R-B509) models introduced by Vacheron Constantin within the scope of 2020 Watches & Wonders comes in a perfect blend of sportiness with high watchmaking.
Vacheron Constantin Overseas family, which has a special place in the sports and luxury watches category, had two new additions to the Perpetual Calendar family, within the scope of 2020 Watches & Wonders. The Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin with blue dial, introduced in 2019, can now be purchased with a bracelet made of the same material as its case. The other model is the skeleton dial version of the same watch. Vacheron Constantin, who is known as one of the most famous of Swiss watchmaking in terms of skeleton dials, uses such a special design in the Overseas Collection, which offers an elegant excitement for watch lovers.
Both models feature 18K rose gold cases measuring 41.5mm x 8.1m. Water-resistance levels of models with sapphire crystals on the front and back surfaces are limited to 50 meters. The dials of the models stand out as the biggest differences between them. In the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin model, the blue dial appears with the skeleton form, as can be understood from its name in the Skeleton version of the same watch. The dials feature Perpetual Calendar complications along with time-keeping related displays.
The models are powered by the manufacture self-winding Caliber 1120 QP / 1 and 1120 QOSQ / 1 (skeleton version) movements. Based on the legendary Caliber JL 920, the movements measure 29.6mm x 4.05mm, consist of 276 parts, has 36 jewels, beat at a frequency rate of 19800vph, and offer a power reserve of 40 hours when fully wound. Both movements bear the "Hallmark of Geneva" seals.
The models come with a pair of straps as a blue alligator and a blue rubber strap. Pink gold folding buckles secure both straps. Let me remind you that all Overseas Collection models are compatible with the quick strap change system.
