Zenith adds two new models to its Chronomaster series, the case and dial parts of which are decorated with diamonds.
The new collection, consisting of two models, is exclusively produced for the Zenith DREAMHERS campaign, which the brand launched last year with the idea of serving as “a platform where visionary, independent and inspiring women from all walks of life can share their voices and passions”.
This year's group includes contemporary artist Teresa Jueves, conductor Amandine Chaignot, professional ballerina Precious Adams, fashion retail pioneer Ghizlan Guenez, EXTREME E racer Christine Giampaoli Zonca, skincare entrepreneur Laura Noltemeyer and former Miss Switzerland and medical expert, Laetitia Guarino.
The new models come with a 36mm diameter steel case. Following the Chronomaster design language with the piston-style chronograph pushers and Zenith signed winding crown, there are 56 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case lugs.
Two different dials are offered in the series. Mother-of-pearl and silver tones are used on the dials, which remain faithful to the tri-color counter design. The diamond detail on the case continues with 9 diamonds placed on the hour markers.
Inside both watches is the Caliber 3600, the most updated version of Zenith's El Primero caliber family, which is the same movement used in the Chronomaster Sport and Original models. The automatic chronograph movement, which can make precise 1/10th-second time measurements, works with a high oscillation frequency of 36,600vph (5 Hz) specific to the movement family. The movement, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back, offers a power reserve time of up to 60 hours when fully wound.
Both watches are secured to the wrist by a complementary calfskin strap in either a light blue or brown corresponding with the dial colors.
