There are two different references in the new model family. The models, which focus on black and white colors, come with large-faced cases designed with a diameter of 44mm and a height of 14.50mm. The cases, which are based on the Defy platform, which represents the face of Zenith opening to the future, are produced from glossy black or matte white ceramic material. On the front of the cases is a bezel made of ceramic material and a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Equipped with a rubber-sealed crown and flat rectangular chronograph pushers, the sporty case is complemented by a sapphire crystal display case back. The stylish case offers 100 meters of water resistance.

The new model family is powered by the El Primero 9004, which is among the innovative calibers of the watch world with its double escapement system. The automatic chronograph movement operates at a frequency of 5Hz (36,000vph), which is considered the symbol detail of the El Primero concept, and offers a power reserve time of up to 50 hours when fully wound. 1/100 sec. The chronograph function, which can measure with precision, takes this feature from the chronograph escapement, which works at an astonishing 50Hz (360,000vph). The movement, specially prepared for the model, offers a feast for the eyes with its rainbow-colored PVD-coated bridges and a blue star rotor.
