The Zenith El Primero Skeleton Collection, which has been a guest of our pages with a previously released limited edition in memory of the legendary rock band Rolling Stones, is now under the loupe with its Tourbillion model.
The Zenith El Primero Tourbillion Skeleton model, which was launched in the Baselworld fair in this year, began to take its place in boutiques... The new model combines the traditional values of watchmaking with the still trending all-black concept while attracting attention with its relatively reasonable price.
The case is made of black ceramic, with a diameter of 45mm. The classically designed case houses various other versions in the El Primero Collection, and includes the signature detail pump style chronograph pushers. The case sports double AR coated sapphire crystals with a water resistance depth of 50M.
The dial features gray and anthracite tones that match with the all-black concept nicely. The ruthenium-coated hour markers and hands were employed in the partially skeletonized dial. Red details have been added to the tips of the hands to emphasize the sporty appearance and increase readability. With its multi-layered architecture and skeleton style, the dial bears a very stylish look and has been able to keep its readability to a reasonable level with clever details.

The watch is powered by the 35-jewel automatic El Primero Caliber Ref. 4035 B, an automatic movement composed of 342 parts that beats at a frequency of 36,000vph to provide a power reserve of 50 hours. The movement features a 60-second tourbillion and a 12-hour column-wheel chronograph mechanism.
The new model features many details that highlight its sporty character, and has a perforated black rubber strap. The strap is secured with a folding clasp made of black PVD coated titanium.
I would also like to not that the watch has a very impressive look, is a successful model, and with a price tag of 50,000 USD, is especially affordable among the models that hold the Tourbillion feature that fetch quite high figures for many watch aficionados. Especially with this feature set.
