On Sunday, September 24, 2017, more than 70 gentlemen will ride their motorcycles in 600 cities in 95 countries to raise awareness about prostate cancer and male mental health. Zenith, a sponsor of this significant event, aims to raise awareness by introducing a very special timepiece.
The motorcycle rally, which was held in Turkey as well as in the past year, had a strong participation. This year, the classical motorcycle lovers will come together in Istanbul and Izmir in the same way as the whole world.

Following the production of the Zenith Pilot Ton-Up DGR Chronograph last year, Zenith has produced a limited edition model exclusively for this event. Only 5 units to be produced and they will be presented to the main donors of your event. The "Number 0" model will go on sale in Milan on the day of the event.
The new model comes in an aged stainless steel case measuring 45mm in diameter. We are familiar with this case style from the models introduced during Baselworld 2016 and 2017. The past versions were highly acclaimed by the watch enthusiasts upon introduction. The model, which is a member of the pilot’s watches collection, features a large winding crown that is in line with the concept itself. The front face is equipped with an AR coated scratch resistant sapphire crystal while the caseback is adorned with an engraving of "The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride" text. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
The dial of the model also has an aged appearance that will matches with the case. The large hands and Arabic indices that we are used to seeing during pilot watches are also featured in this model. Also at 6 o’clock, "The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride" text is written.
Zenith Pilot Ton-Up DGR 2017 is powered by Elite 679 caliber. The movement beats at 4Hz and provides 50 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Although the movement is not displayed due to the solid caseback, the rear view of the watch is very elegantly designed.
The model is offered on a brown nubuck strap and a stainless steel buckle. Like the model introduced last year, the strap is decorated with the "The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride" logo.
