5 Watch Suggestions For Your Father

We put together 5 stylish timepieces for the upcoming Father’s Day.

 

1) Alpina Seastrong Diver 300

The first model in our list comes from Alpina. The model is the modern re-issue version of the well-established brand’s iconic model from the 1960s Seastrong Diver.

The model’s case is made of stainless steel measuring 44mm x 13mm. The case sports a scratch proof sapphire crystal on the front side and offers a water resistance rating of 300 meters. The uni-directional rotating bezel can be preferred in gray or navy blue.

The matte black dial is accompanied by very large indices and hands filled with SuperLuminova phosphor material for better legibility at darker environments. The date display is located at 3 o’clock.

2) Rado DiaMaster Grande Seconde

The second timepiece in our list comes from Rado, which draws attention with its alternative materials that withstand cosmetic aging as well as its simple but functional designs. The DiaMaster Grande Seconde model, which was presented within the brand’s Baselworld 2017 novelties, stands out with its original dial design and elegant lines.

The model’s mono-block case is made of High-Tech Plasma Ceramic. Measuring 43mm in diameter, 100m water resistant case sports scratch resistant sapphire glasses on both sides. The dial, which is designed with wide sub-dials, offers three different surface forms which create a unique look.

The timepiece is powered by the Caliber ETA Ref. 2892. Self-winding movement beats at 4Hz and offers a 45 hours power reserve when fully wound.

3) Hamilton Jazzmaster Power Reserve

The third place in our list features the American-origin brand Hamilton. From classic dress timepieces to sports watches designed for professionals, the brand offers a wide range of products for almost every taste. The model we have here in our list is the Jazzmaster Power Reserve.

The model is offered in a stainless steel case measuring 42m in diameter. Water resistant to 50 meters, the case sports an AR coated scratch resistant sapphire crystal on the front side.

The series is offered with three different dial colors as black, silver and white. The model is powered with the brand’s Caliber Ref. H13 which draws attention with its impressive power reserve of 80 hours. The series is offered with stainless steel bracelet and leather strap options. 4) NOMOS Glasshütte Club Campus

The German-origin brand Nomos, which is highly praised by watch enthusiasts and the authorities, gets the fourth place in our list with its new Club Campus collection. The model was presented within the Baselworld 2017 novelties and it was one of our favorites among the new models introduced during the exhibition.

The model is offered in a stainless steel case measuring 38mm in diameter. The case sports a scratch resistant sapphire crystal on the front side and a mirror polished and plain caseback which offers free of charge personalization with texts and/or logos engraved on. The model is offered with two dial color options.

5) Baume & Mercier Clifton Club

The last model in our list comes from the Baume & Mercier brand. The brand, known for its elegant models with more traditional lines, reminded us that it is also ambitious in the sports watch concept, with the models it released in memory of the legendary racing car Shelby Cobra. Continuing on the same line, Baume & Mercier took the place in our list with the Clifton Club model which was introduced during the SIHH 2017.

The model comes in a 42mm diameter case. There are a number of options differentiated by mainly dial color and case/bracelet materials. The model we have here in our list is the black ADLC coated stainless steel model with matching black rubber strap.
