Sharks, whales, breathtaking dives... Panerai and Guillaume Néry offered 15 people a fascinating experience on the French coast.
The Italian origin luxury watchmaker Panerai had planned three special experiences for its special customers at the SIHH fair in Geneva in the first month of the year. The thrilling diving experience with Guillaume Néry took place on 26th September.
The host of the experience, brand ambassador and freediving champion Guillaume Néry, dived along the French coast with 15 Panerai enthusiasts who own the Submersible Chrono Guillaume Néry Edition. The event, which combines nature with adventure, began with an educational yoga session under the supervision of Néry.
During the yoga session, the participants learned the correct breathing techniques needed for a safer dive from Guillaume Néry, as well as a sincere conversation in which the freediving champion described his impressive philosophy of thinking beyond the sport, controlling time, recognizing his boundaries and building a strong bond with nature.
Afterward, the group explored the underwater world via snorkeling and completed their adventures by watching the whales floating in the crystal waters of Polynesia from small boats. They also met with manta stingrays and lemon sharks and had the chance to experience different excitements.
The idea of building a rational and sustainable relationship with the natural life and other creatures in it that serves as the main purpose of the event, highlights the ‘respecting the world and its fascinating creatures’ motto of the brand and its brand ambassador, Néry.
