Three awards in one year: Nomos Glashütte Tangente Neomatik 41 Update continues to collect awards in the world of horology and design.
Tangente Neomatik 41 Update, which has become the brand’s best-selling model since its introduction to watch enthusiasts last year, won an award in the Challenge Watch category for its technical and watchmaking success at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). The German brand has now achieved its 3rd international success by receiving the Platinum award in the “Luxury Goods” category of the European Product Design Award.
The iconic model of Nomos Glashütte, Tangente, has been the brand’s best-selling watch for more than 25 years. Tangente Neomatik 41 Update is an updated version of the model’s simple design, angled form, and distinctive typography. Tangente Neomatik 41 Update, which is larger than the old versions with a diameter of 41mm, is still quite thin with a total height of 7.9mm.
One of the most striking features of the model is the design of its date display. The date ring surrounding the dial is characterized by two red markers. What can we say? It is both practical, elegant and flashy. Let us mention that this date display is completely new and unique to Nomos Glashütte.
The European Product Design Award (ePDA) features independent juries specializing in design. Innovation, functionality, and sustainability are among the selection criteria of the products that are designed with user-friendly solutions blend and original aesthetic details.
