Arnold & Son is celebrating its Double Tourbillon collection with the unveiling of two unique pieces adorned with green jade and white opal.
The famous brand, known for its traditional designs focusing on high-watchmaking, is crowning its signature Double Tourbillon concept with two new references. The unique pieces are available in 18K rose gold (1DTAR.Z01A.C120R) and white gold (1DTAW.Z01A.C121W) options.
Measuring 43.50mm in diameter, the elegant case houses two crowns placed at 7 and 2 o'clock positions. The A&S logo is placed on the diagonally placed crowns, which perform the tasks of adjusting the time zones and winding the movement. The case, which has sapphire crystals on both sides, is resistant to water pressure up to 30 meters.
Used in both models, the dial is made of green jade and white opal. There are twin Tourbillon escapements at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions of the dial, which makes users who care about this subject smile with its extraordinary symmetrical structure. There are two time zone sub-dials located at 12 and 6 o'clock and hosting large numeral and Roman numeral indices representing the two time zones. Components such as the rings surrounding the time zone sub-dials as well as the bridge and the balance wheel in the Tourbillon escapements are made of gold matching the case material.
Caliber A&S8513 brings new models to life, designed and produced entirely by A&S. The hand-wound movement offers a power reserve time of up to 90 hours thanks to its double pump mechanism.
The list price for the models offered for sale with a green alligator strap matching the dial tone and a buckle made of the same material as the case is CHF 198,000.
