CODE 11.59, one of the newest members of the Audemars Piguet product group, is expanding with a brand new limited edition model.
CODE 11.59, which came like a bombshell in the world of watchmaking since its introduction and has been criticized by many watch enthusiasts, once again welcomes watch aficionados with a new model that brings together two important complications; Chronograph and Flying Tourbillon under the same roof.
Young product line CODE 11.59 is not a collection that is distant to the concept of complications. The model family, which attracts attention especially with its design, offers models with integrated chronograph, skeleton style Tourbillon, ultra-thin Perpetual Calendar, and Minute Repeater complications.
The new model added to the collection comes in a 41mm diameter case designed in the style of CODE 11.59. Equipped with hallow lugs and octagonal case side, among the signature details of the design, the case is made of 18K white gold. The case is equipped with sapphire crystals on the front and back, and the water resistance rating is limited to 30 meters.
The dial of the new model is designed in the skeleton style. The blue lacquered minute scale was accompanied by sub-dial counters in the same tone. The tourbillon is placed at 6 o'clock on the dial, which brings the blue theme to the front with the blue-colored white gold hour and minute hand.
Audemars Piguet CODE 11.59 Flying Tourbillon Chronograph comes to life with the Caliber 2952, which was developed and produced entirely by AP. Automatic movement with 40 jewels / 479 pieces operates at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph) and offers up to 65 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Featuring an integrated and column-wheel Flyback chronograph with 30-minute and 12-hour counters, as well as a Tourbillon that completes a full rotation in 60 seconds, the movement can be enjoyed with the help of sapphire crystals on both sides of the case and skeleton dial.
Limited to only 50 pieces, the new model comes with a hand-stitched navy blue alligator strap and an 18K white gold folding clasp designed in the shape of the AP logo. The MSRP for the model is CHF 240,000.
