Bell & Ross is expanding its urban-style collection with a new limited edition model, Bell & Ross BR 05 Chrono White Hawk.
Bell & Ross is a name known for models inspired by aviation, namely the gauges on the airplane cockpits. The Paris-based brand, which managed to become one of the icons of the industry with this unique design that offers round and square forms together, attracted great attention with the BR 05 collection it introduced in 2019. The collection, which uses a design language suitable for the luxury sports watch concept that became a sudden hype, rather than the typical Tool Watch theme of Bell & Ross, carried the brand's success to another lane with the positive feedback it received. The young collection is expanding today with a new limited edition model.
The new model comes in a stainless steel case designed with a width of 42mm and a height of 13.5mm. There are scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on the front and back of the case, where matte and glossy surfaces are used together. The case, which nods to the Bell & Ross design concept by featuring a square-shaped bezel with rounded edges and four screw details, sports a screw-in crown surrounded by thick guards and a set of wide chronograph pushers. On the crystal part of the case back, which is also fixed to the case with four screws, the White Hawk logo, emphasizing the name of the model, stands out. The sporty case is waterproof up to 100 meters.
The dial, which is the distinguishing feature of the model, offers a fresher and more basic look with its matte, silvery-white opaline background. The dial designed in Bi-Compax chronograph layout hosts Super-LumiNOVA applied applique markers and baton hands. The red finish on the second and minute hands of the chronograph function match nicely with the model's sporty theme and saves the dial from monotony.
The BR-CAL.301 movement gives life to the new model. Based on the ETA 2894-2 with an automatic modular chronograph function, the caliber provides a power reserve of up to 42 hours when fully wound.
The model, limited to only 250 pieces, is available with an integrated stainless steel bracelet (EUR 6,100) or black rubber strap (EUR 5,600) alternatives, which are among the signature details of the collection.
