Breguet, one of the heavyweights of high watchmaking, is under the spotlight with its new Valentine's Day-themed women's model.
These days when we are getting ready to leave 2022 behind, watch brands continue to introduce new models. Models with the theme of Valentine's Day, one of the romantic themes of watchmaking, are also among the newly announced watches. Breguet, one of the milestone brands of Swiss watchmaking, celebrates this meaningful day with a stylish model.
Known for its elegant and simple design language, the Phase de Lune Collection has been in the product group of the well-established brand since 2016. The new Valentine's Day themed model emphasizes the elegance-oriented design of the collection with its 30mm diameter and 9.85mm thick case. Made of 18K white gold, the elegant case has 66 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and lugs. Sapphire crystals are used on both sides of the beautiful case.
The new model hosts a Guilloché patterned dial, which is considered among the signature details for Breguet. In the center of the mother-of-pearl dial, there is a completely hand-crafted Guilloché pattern. On the dial, which stands out with its fine craftsmanship, odd-number hours are shown with black numeral indices, and even-number hours are shown with round ruby indices. There is a moon phase indicator at 6 o'clock. Hours, minutes, and seconds are read with the Breguet-identified blued hands.
The stylish model comes to life with the Caliber 537L. Powered by a solid gold rotor decorated with a hand-embroidered Guilloché pattern, the automatic movement offers a 45-hour power reserve when fully wound.
The model, limited to only 28 pieces, comes with crocodile straps in red and pearl-white colors. The straps, compatible with the brand's quick strap change system, are fixed to the wrist with an 18K white gold buckle. The list price for the model is EUR 36,900.
