Breitling, which recently opened a new page under the leadership of the watch industry’s legendary name George Kern, introduced its first model Breitling Super Avenger 01 Boutique Edition after management change.
Breitling Super Avenger 01 Boutique Edition, which is the brand’s first release after the management change, will be limited to pieces and offered through brand’s boutiques only.
The new model carries the classic Breitling lines with many details reflecting the brand’s DNA. Breitling Super Avenger 01 Boutique Edition model is offered in a stainless steel case measuring 48mm in diameter. The case is equipped with a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal with double AR coating and the classic “rider tab” style diver’s bezel. Water resistant to 300 meters, the case sports a solid stainless steel caseback featuring a Pin-Up style illustration and a "Special Delivery" text along limited production info.
The dial design of the model is made in the classic Tri-Compax chronograph lay-out. Small seconds at 9 o’clock, 30 minutes sub-counter at 3 o’clock, 12 hours sub-counter at 6 o’clock and a date display at 4:30 o’clock. The black dial is accompanied with large luminescent hour-markers and hands. The dial is decorated with “Edition Limitée” inscription in red which relates to the limited edition feature of the model.
The new model is powered with the brand’s in-house movement Caliber Ref.01 which was debuted in 2009 and received great acclaim from the authorities. The self-winding movement beats at 4Hz and offers an efficient power reserve of 70 hours when fully wound. COSC certified movement is equipped with a column wheel chronograph and a date function. Decorated with Côtes de Genève motifs, the movement is not visible due to the solid caseback.
In addition to stainless steel bracelet there are also leather and rubber strap alternatives available with the model. The timepiece is limited to 100 units and will be sold through the Breitling boutiques only.
