Bremont, one of the rare British brands of the watch industry, introduced its new collection designed in collaboration with the UK Ministry of Defense.
Bremont, which has a considerable history of military-themed watches, has made a number of new models in different product groups in recent years. The brand is also the official watch supplier of the UK Ministry of Defense, and it will become the sole watch manufacturer allowed to use the signs and emblems of the Royal Navy, British Army, and the Royal Air Force.
There are three different models in the newly introduced Bremont Armed Forces Collection. Before examining the models, let’s talk about the common design and technical language of the collection. All the models in the collection are powered with C.O.S.C certified self-winding movements.
All three models are presented in a two-piece modular case from Bremont’s signature details. The cases are made of hardened stainless steel, which is another Bremont detail. Front faces of the cases are equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystals while the case backs are solid stainless steel and are engraved with UK Ministry of Defense emblems.
The new models are available with a pair of canvas straps in green and blue as well as a black rubber strap.
Broadsword
Being the most classic-looking model of the new collection, Broadsword comes in 40mm diameter case, which is water resistant to 100 meters / 10 bars. Three-hander model features a matt black dial with a date display at 3 o’clock and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock.
Arrow
Arrow is the aviation-inspired model of the collection. The model is equipped with the classic mono-pusher chronograph, which we started to see in other brands’ current product lines as well. Designed in retro Bi-Compax lay out, the dial features a pair of sub-counters at 3 and 9 o’clock. Offering a vintage look, the matt black dial features a red-tipped seconds hand and a black background disk date display. Arrow is available in a 42mm diameter case, which is also water resistant to 100 meters / 10 bars.
Argonaut
The last model of the collection, Argonaut, is designed in-line with the classic Compressor diver style with a pair of winding crown and an inner-rotating dive bezel. This model also comes in a 42mm case but this time the case is water resistant to 300 meters / 30 bars, which is suits well with its design. The dial is matt black with hands finished in alternative tones.
