Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Ceramic is a record-breaking watch, just like the other versions of the series. The model, which holds the title of being the thinnest all-ceramic watch in the world, features characteristic Octo design details and unique engineering solutions.
The case of the watch, measuring 40mm x 5.5mm, is made entirely of ceramic. Words are insufficient to describe the feeling of comfort that such a thin wristwatch creates on the wrist. There are sapphire crystals on the front and back of the case. The model is water-resistant to 30 meters. Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic is available in two different ceramic versions. One of them has matte while the other has glossy surfaces, and both models create a different feel to the wrist. In contrast to the smooth and shiny surfaces of the glossy version, the matte version stands out with sharper lines. Thanks to the very high surface hardness, a common feature of both watches, we can guarantee that they will stand the test of time.
The dials of the watches are made of black ceramic, just like their cases. Legibility may not be the best aspect of these dials, but they are in great harmony with the rest of the design. Unfortunately, it is impossible to talk about night visibility.
At the heart of the models is the manufacture automatic Caliber BVL-138. The thickness of the 36.6mm diameter movement is only 2.23mm. The secret to achieving this value in a fully automatic caliber comes from the micro-rotor winding system. The platinum micro-rotor is the most important building block of a highly effective winding system and helps to preserve the extraordinary thinness of the movement. The 36 jewels movement operates at 21600vph and offers a 60-hour power reserve.
Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Ceramic models feature bracelets made of matte or glossy ceramic, which vary depending on the version, just like the case.
