White gold, diamonds, elegance... Maillon de Cartier strengthens its position on the wrists with its design that defines luxury.
As we know, before Cartier introduced Santos-Dumont in 1904, the brand had an important place in the world of luxury with its jewelry collections. Cartier, which has stepped into the world of horology with a bespoke timepiece, both takes the identity of the watchmaker one step forward and proves its mastery in jewelry with every design it offers. Maillon de Cartier is one of the eye-catching models that combine horology with the art of jewelry.
Maillon de Cartier, which is among Cartier's novelties this year, carries the brand's DNA along with a completely new design. One of the best examples of the 'jewelry watch' concept in recent years, this collection consists of five different models; two white, two pink and one yellow gold.
'Maillon', which means 'connection' in French, is also used for the Panthère de Cartier jewelry series that is currently characterized by connections. The name chosen for the collection makes sense considering the tightly interlocking links are also the central design motifs in rings, bracelets, and necklaces.
Maillon de Cartier product line offers this design code with its twisting details. Combining curves and angled surfaces, i.e. twisted connections, defines the jewelry watch collection. The seamlessly integrated bracelet consists of offset links that reflect the shape of the bezel.
The Maillon de Cartier (Ref. WJBJ0003), which we have here, comes in an 18K white gold case measuring 16 x 17 x 6.8mm. A total of 0.61 carats and 25 diamonds adorn the case and the winding crown. This stylish-looking watch has a weight that makes you feel when you wear it on your wrist. However, you certainly do not complain about its heaviness. On the contrary, you like its presence. The elegant case is resistant to water pressure up to 30 meters.
A silver dial decorated by the sunray pattern, a pair of sword-shaped blued-steel hands, and Roman numeral indices display the time.
Maillon de Cartier, powered by a quartz movement, is complemented by an 18K white gold bracelet.
