The Alpine Eagle collection, which represents the modern-classic face of the brand with its extensive renovation in the past years, continues to expand with new models added to the product line. Chopard Alpine Eagle Cadence 8HF, one of the eye-catching novelties of the brand we visited at the Watches & Wonders 2023 fair, is our guest today.
The new model comes in a modern Alpine Eagle case designed with a diameter of 41mm and a thickness of 9.75mm. The case, made of Grade 5 titanium alloy, which is known for its corrosion resistance as well as its ultra-light feature, has sapphire crystals on the front and back. The case back of the WR100M case includes the name of the model.
The stylish model comes with a black dial that houses applique indices and baton hands. The dial, which is among the classics of the watch world with its surface form inspired by the iris of the Alpine Eagle’s eye, stands out with the squiggly arrow symbol emphasizing the caliber that brings the model to life at 6 o'clock.
The most important innovation of the new model lies under the dial. The sporty model takes its power from the manufacture Chopard 01.12-C caliber. Pushing the limits among high-beat mechanical calibers, the automatic movement, which is a candidate to set the standards again with its 8Hz (57.600vph) operating frequency, is also appreciated with its 60-hour efficient power reserve on fully wound status. The COSC-certified caliber can be viewed through the see-thru case back.
Chopard Alpine Eagle Cadence 8HF Ref.: 298600-3020 comes with a three-link sporty bracelet, which we are familiar with from past versions in the model family. Made of the same Grade 5 titanium alloy as the case, the bracelet is complemented by a Chopard-signed folding clasp.
