Frederique Constant Classics Carrée – New Models

One of the rapidly rising stars of traditional watchmaking, Frederique Constant introduced the new models added to the Classics Carrée collection, which stands out with its Art Deco style design.

Founded in 1988 by Aletta and Peter Stas in Geneva, Switzerland, the brand is one of the leading players in the entry and mid-range Swiss mechanical watches segment today. The young brand, which has developed 15 different in-house movements to date, continues its rapid rise with models that can be considered unrivaled in terms of price/performance.

The new models that the brand has recently added to its product line are included in the Constant Classics Carrée collection, which draws attention with its timeless Art Deco vibe. Despite the square (Carrée) word in its name, the collection, which actually has a rectangular design, brings a clean and elegant interpretation to the concept with new dial colors.

The new models come with a rectangular case measuring 30.40mm x 33.30mm x 9.71mm. The case, which offers a stylish and dignified appearance with its completely glossy surface, curved lines, and thick sides, is available in two different types stainless steel or gold-plated stainless steel. The case, with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on the front and back, sports a dome-shaped crown.

The new models added to the collection as three different references are offered with two dial alternatives, silver, and dark blue Dauphine style hands display the time on the dial, where stylized applique baton markers are used instead of Roman numeral indexes. The sector-style dial hots a Guilloché pattern rectangle part in the center and a sunray surfaced outer part as well as a date display located at 6 o’clock.

The models, powered by the automatic Sellita SW-200-based Caliber FC-303 movement with a 38-hour power reserve, are available on calfskin straps in brown and black with tone-on-tone stitching.
